Art Gallery "Foreclosure"

The art gallery at UOP featuring Kirk Crippens' "Foreclosure" was very nice and the pictures taken by the photographer were great as well.  The prints captured the crisis that is currently going on across the United States with the forclosures of homes. There were several pictures that stood out  to me in how memories can often be lefted behind by the old homeowners.  For example,  the "Galxay" picture of the stickers half hanging from the ceiling reminded me of my room.  The picture looked like a kid's room and I could picture the child looking up from his or her bed staring at the stickers either at night or day.  I have stickers that glow in the dark and at night I can see them clearly.  This I could relate to and the bright color were interesting to see in the room because nothing else was in the room.  The white background made me focuse more on the subjects withinn pictures more so if it was in black.  Another picture which stook out to me was with the empty refrigerator and the bare garage stripped to barely nothing.  It took me back of my own situation at the moment.  My family and I are going through reconstruction on our old landury room and it looks kinda like that. All the pictures were crisp and clean as well.  The photographer made me wanting to see more of their work and their message was clearly showed in the end.  I had a overall pleasent experience and would like to go to more shows at UOP featuring more talented people.
